THE ELECTRIC CAR

For many it is surprising to know that electric vehicles, historically demonstrated, were the first cars to be used. Long before even the internal explosion vehicles that currently dominate the automotive scene. With the advancement of technology the advantages are becoming more and more than the disadvantages in this type of vehicle, which is why the option of an eventual migration to this type of car will become increasingly attractive.

The history of these vehicles emerges during the first half of the 1800s, being the same sources of inspiration in many ways for the internal combustion engines that currently dominate the automotive market. Due to the obsolete technology in those years the first electric vehicles had very little autonomy and the average speed was only 30 km/h and the battery of short duration. The advancement and sophistication in the manufacture of electric batteries allowed a remarkable growth in the manufacture of electric vehicles.

However, it was internal combustion engines that dominated the automotive scene, virtually relegating electric vehicles to extinction. Some time later, among other factors, the oil crisis aroused interest in new sources of energy which resurfaced the idea of developing these vehicles. Currently the technological advance has allowed to put on the market several models of electric cars, allowing to reduce many of the drawbacks and expanding more and more the advantages.
